Hey dude, I enjoyed your beatles blog. I feel guilty purchasing one song at a time on iTunes, like I’m missing out on whatever else the artist has to offer. I love albums, why one song follows another, the packaging, the hidden song gems. Plus, the ultimate end experience for me is the concert, & to make the most of it, I want to know as many songs possible by the band/artist.

One thing to think about – now is the best time to buy vinyl in 30 years. With the invention of cassette tape/CD, listeners were able to take their tunes wherever they wished with relative ease, & even more so now with mp3 players. In every record I’ve purchased the last year, an mp3 download link/address has been sent to me (if purchased online) or supplied in the packaging. So, the fan can have the warmth of vinyl to listen to at home, then enjoy their music anywhere else they please (iPod, computer, car, etc) on mp3. There’s been a resurgence of vinyl on the website I buy most of music from (insound.com). Usually, the top sellers are vinyl before anything else. Kinda cool ...
